Well it has been a long seven months spent remodeling our house. We did all of the work except installing the carpet. A special thank you to Don & Susan Gentry, Kathy Harris, Gary Strong and Nathan Beus for helping. New paint inside & out, all new windows and doors, new trim board, tile, refinished hardwood, new carpet, new roof (installed before we bought) new lighting and a whole new kitchen (cabinets were already in place). There is still a few minor touchups but there always is. Next on our list is landscaping! Note to those who are considering remodeling, IT'S TOUGH!

Washington Newspaper Publishers Association Awards





Ryan Hahn, graphic designer for the Othello Independent, received four awards for the newspaper Friday night at the awards banquet of the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. The awards were as follows: first place in the Best Single ‘Convey an Image’ Ad category for 2008 Rodeo ad; second place in Best Use of One Spot Color and Black Ad for the 2008 Stephen Beus ad; second place in Best Multiple-Advertiser Ad - One or Two Full Pages for 2008 Homecoming ad; and third place in Best Youth-Oriented Content Ad for the 2008 National FFA Week ad.

Jonah's 1st Birthday














Jonah Ryan Hahn had his first birthday yesterday. He had chili for dinner and a birthday cupcake. Presents included: dinosaurs, cars, little people farm and a 4 wheeler (JK) that present will come latter. Jonah is a special little guy that has awesome hair and will have a bright future. Happy birthday JR!

Hahn family reunion, West Point, CA





































The Hahn reunion took place in West Point California. It took 15 hours to get there. We stayed in a beautiful cabin owned by a family friend. We road ATV's, swung and swam. It was great seeing everyone. We then traveled to Livermore and had fun swimming in Grandma & Grandpa's pool.
